I was lucky to get the original manual with my GT/CS with the owner's hand written name/address and dealer rubber stamped information. It is the normal 68 mustang owners manual. Casey

When I got my GT/CS at Thanksgiving and went through it, I found it had all the tail light reinforcement plates except one of the small ones. Paul describes these in his first book on page 46. These are the plates used on the CS and Shelbys to protect the unique tail lights and are metal...

Checked with our biggest FORD dealer in the area (in the wealthy district). They said they ordered double of all the mustang promotion literature, but had not seen this. They were really nice to look on the computer and could not find it. Their guess is that is is a dealer or regional special...

I was talking with Bob Teets this afternoon and going over the new CS. After hanging up, I found a tag attached to the springs of the back seat (from inside the trunk). It is definitely an original tag, as you can see from the picture. It looks like Allen Industries of Compton, CA supplied...

Was just talking with Bob Teets by phone on some other things, and asked him. He confirmed the rear bumper guards are painted body color with a rubber black edge. (This is how my CS is). Casey
