    1968 1968 GT Equipment Option

Thanks, I am not wanting a debate just trying to better understand and want to use Ford printed materials where possible to form my opinions but you make a good case with the reports. I do have a 12-12-67 Ford addendum that says that Scode option would only be available with the GT option. I...

    1968 1968 GT Equipment Option

I got my information from a 68 Ford sales broacher. Do you have a addendum to show this change? I would like to know how the cars you mentioned above could have been built under Fords enisle policy, or were there ways to get around them? Marty

    1968 1968 GT Equipment Option

The 68 GT package did not include PB unless you got a S or R code engine. then PB were required at additional cost but still not part of the GT option. BTW the 67 GT option did include PB on all engines. Marty

    1968 1968 GT Equipment Option

Rob that is the 68 Mustang sales broacher. I have one. I also have the 67 Mustang on also. I have both 67 and 68 Ford dealer option books that explain all of the GT equipment. I'll post a Ford sales addendum that came out in late 67 that explains the GT option on the S codes that Frank was...

. OK, What did Santa Bring You?

I got a gear wrench set, a 1/4 drive air ratchet and found out my oldest daughter is going to have a boy this summer. How about that for a Christmas surprise! Sorry no picture available yet.

    . Photo Your Winter Fun

Well I think Santa Rob paid a visit to my shop last night. I had this 67 6cil project in the shop. When I went in this morning most of the cookies are all most gone and all of the beer is gone. Now the 6 cylinder looks like this. Boy will the trip to grand mother's house be fun today! How does...

Rob you are Santa with a wrench! Good on you. My dad would love that old Plymouth. I have some projects in my shop if you would like to stop in on your trip around the world on the 25th. The milk (beer) and cookies will be on the bench. Have you made any performance mods to the sleigh this...

    1968 Water Blasting

It was not my fork lift but if it was you bet it would. When I restore a car every part is done that way it is basically a new car when I am done. It always seems the one thing you do not do all ways come back to haunt you latter. If I get a fork lift may be you could come down and put some...

    1968 Water Blasting

It was too bad it was left out side with the windows down, You can't see it in the pictures but the entire floor is out of it. The good news is there is not much rust any where else. One weird place is the dash, the windshield must have leaked and the water got under the dash pad. The worst...

    1968 Water Blasting

I thought I would try a different method of paint and rust removal on our latest HCS project. This process uses high pressure water and air with a recycled glass as the media. They also add a chemical that stops the metal from flash rusting and will not rust as long as you keep it dry. It took...

    1968 hood hinge

Yes the fender would need to be off. I found a parts car and used a 1 1/2 hole saw to cut out the nut plate and then cut out the damaged area with a 1 3/8 hole saw. Then all you have to do is weld it in and dress the welds. Be sure to cover the car especially the glass when welding and...

    1968 Convenience Control Group blubs

The low fuel and seatbelt warning take a UL1445. The park brake warning and door agar warning take a UL256. UL256 bulbs are made to flash off and on to draw attention and reduce heat so the lens does not melt. They are not reproduced and must be found NOS. To change bulbs reach in console...

    Highly optioned california specials?

No the fenders did not come with the holes. If you have holes your car had the moldings at one time.

    Highly optioned california specials?

I do not think it ever had the wheel opening moldings because the bumper guards were added.
