Temp gauge reading when warmed up?

Just an FYI - I never had an overheating problem with the car. I've run the car for a few hours on a hot summer day both highway and side roads and never had a problem and never had to add any anti-freeze. I did have to replace the temp sensor last summer because the temp gauge stopped...

    greenlight diecast available

I got my 1:64 scale GT/CS models about 2 weeks ago I guess. I was impressed with them - much better in person than the pictures in my mind. I haven't opened up the packages but through the plastic they look pretty decent.

    stock carb on these cars?

I believe that receipt is for the Holley Carb currently in the car. I found that in the trunk when I bought the car inside an old Holley box. As far as I know it was for that carb.

    GT/CS on Ebay

Note that it says that was the "Scheduled" build date not the "Actual" Build date. Still kind of early though for a car to be sitting around. Could be one of the cars built ahead and later modified to be a CS. Darn wrong script again!!

Should I repaint my car to original?

The Marti Report will show you the total number of Mustangs painted that color not just California Specials. Not sure if you are looking for all or just Cal Specials. There must be someone with a Brittany Blue marti posted on the marti thread I'm sure.

Should I repaint my car to original?

I noticed that number the other day comparing the Marti Report on my old 302 (originally Lime Gold now Acapulco Blue) to my 289 (originally and still Acapulco Blue). 19,886 was the Acapulco Blue number with only 3,628 with the Paint/Trim code. I was surprised at how many more Lime Gold...

Mustang Times - GT/CS Now and Then Article

The latest Mustang Times has a good article on a couple that own a 68 and 07 or 08 GT/CS (I don't have the article in front of me right now) They have a series of Now and Then pictures of the car and an article on the owners.

    popping exhaust

We felt this was a timing and possibly carb adjustment as well. Was on the to-do list just didn't get around to it yet. It improves some as the car warms up. As Korey said everything else seemed to be OK which led us to look to a timing adjustment as well.
