    1968 Early Cars

Here is the white debut car from Paul's 2011 book. Its script seems to be at least 1" higher than normal. Compare it to the placement on this early car.

    1968 Early Cars

Rob, Remember this blue car in Sumner? It has the high script position. It also has the real early tail light panel. The last photo shows the alignment between the Calfornia and the Mustang on a normal GT/CS. It looks like the California pretty well lines up with the top of the tail light panel.

    1968 Early Cars

On page 30 of the first GT/CS Recognition Guide Paul states that some Southern Oregon Gold Nugget Special cars were built alongside California Specials, which to me implies that they share all the special parts (Note the 2nd line from the top). If we keep Paul's statement in mind then add the...

Here is an a car that I can tell from the photos is a true GT/CS. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-Ford-Mustang-GT-CS-California-Special-1-4118-Ever-Made-NO-RESERVE-/180973582546?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2a22ddb8d2 http://s1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh577/fastercash4cars/1968MUSTANGGTCS/...

And it's just not as easy as making a list that someone can use to inspect a car because such a list, and the required narrative, would take dozens of pages, and photographs as examples. Another problem is that there is really nothing that proves the car to be a real GT/CS, only clues that...

Bambam, I assure you we are not a bunch of bozos who don't understand these cars, but since you are determined to challenge us here goes. Your car has serious GT/CS identification issues in that the driver's side script doesn't line up correctly and there are horse emblems on the front...
