    '68 Fastback and GTCS

    I think you're too low on the GT/CS. IMO a red/white GT/CS restored to driver condition should bring $15K - $20K.

    1968 spark plugs

Too wide of a gap can certainly create problems. Have you run the car since you reset the gaps? Pinging and backfiring is normally a timing issue so here are a few things to check. - Are the vacuum hoses hooked up correctly? Make sure there is no vacuum at idle in the hose that goes to...

    1968 spark plugs

Normally when 1 & 5 are bad I'd look for a spark jump between their wires because they are next to each other in the firing order, but you have 4 bad plugs so it's tough to say what's going on there. It may be just a coincidence that those 4 particular plugs look bad. I had a couple similar...

For Sale One of the First GT/CSs Built?

If this is a true GT/CS (not sure) and if the auction is legit (not sure) this may be one of the first California Specials built. Its VIN is much earlier than Curtis' stage car...

1968 Metal flange that goes from hood lock pin to grille

As far as I know those parts are not sold without the grille. You'll probably need to either buy a new grille and drill out the pop rivets to remove the tabs, or find a busted up used grille and remove them.

    1968 spark plugs

Here's what I've been able to gleen from the various sites. Please take it with a grain of salt because I know just enough to be dangerous. As I understand it the new 45s are the same (or nearly the same) as the old 42s, and they will work for a completely stock engine, but if you increase...

    1968 Rear seatbak Gap-osis

The quarters are semi-adjustable in that you can place a shim (I used a window roller) between the panel and the inner fender at the screw hole. It won't pick up an inch but it may help a little.

    1968 Lucas Light Markings

I have one in my collection that does not have an 'A' so the mystery deepens.
