    Now on ebay, 4642649627

Speaking of tiny URLs, where has Hook vanished to? Hmmm, I guess I should clarify that statement. He first told us about the tiny URL website.

    Real Deal?

It's a scam because whoever is listing it on eBay doesn't own it.

    Real Deal?

Here it is. Ok, back to the car. I just inspected and drove the car. No power steering, big fat sticky tires, and a little 14" steering wheel. Holy crap, the owner must have been a weight lifter! The car looks good and it is pretty solid driving. It has a 289 with a lopy cam and a 4V. Not all...

    Real Deal?

This is a scam. The car is real but the pictures have been pulled from a listing on www.cars.com. I looked at this car when I was in Seattle a few weeks ago and posted the findings.

    HD 3 spd in 1967?

With all the bottom-end grunt of a 390 I'd think a 3-speed would be a great choice. An abundance of gears really are not needed with that much torque. As an example, Chevy successfully ran and raced their 2-speed automatics for years. In my old 4-speed 289 GT/CS I considered 2nd gear pretty...

According to this web-site there was a 3-speed in '67 with the data code of "3". http://members.aol.com/Mustangkaz/decoder.htm

    GT/CS Holy Grail on eBay

That was the 1st time it was on eBay. This time it might really be in Newport Beach. (Side Note - If you go there be sure to stop by Pacific View Cemetery and see John Wayne's new memorial.) It looks like it's a car worth looking at. Maybe it will be the Holy Grail for you this time!

I was wondering if this was the same car. I contacted the guy last time and he said the car was in New York. The whole thing seemed a little strange so I dropped it.

    GT/CS Holy Grail on eBay

How true! Now for something totally off subject. Has anyone seen the DaVinci Code? The critics are flat out clobbering it. The last I checked www.rottentomatoes.com had the critic's approval at 22% but the public's approval at 76%. That is a HUGE disconnect between the critics and the public.
