    1968 Advice on originality

You mentioned wanting to keep your GT/CS pretty much original. Here's my very first CS: 289, A/T, P/S. I added an Edelbrock 4BBL intake & 550CFM carb. For normal driving, I simply added a P/B booster for the drum brakes. Much more cost-effective rather than the Disc Brake conversion cost. Disc...

For Sale Project: Presidential Blue C-code $15,900, Los Angeles area

If I were 10 years younger, I'd be hard-pressed to buy this CS for more than $5K. It needs EVERYTHING. To bring it up to an acceptable level (my standards, not concourse) I would estimate $30K cost in parts with me doing most of the work (I only have paint/bodywork and upholstery farmed out)...

For Sale Project: Presidential Blue C-code $15,900, Los Angeles area

Wrong hood, strange radiator & brackets. I see $12K minimum in paint/body, plus another $12K in parts. Neil

1968 Why not convert my GT/CS to convertible

As there is no such thing as a GT/CS convertible, it would be wiser (and cost-effective) to find a decent '68 convertible and add the necessary body components to achieve the GT/CS appearance. Neil

    For Sale 15 x 7 Shelby 10 Spoke Wheels

Not such a great deal for me: $1,500 for 18-year-old tires & wheels. Plus a 4-hour drive to Raleigh & 4 hours back. I can purchase brand new wheels & tires (Legend wheels, exact width tires I want) from CJ Mustang for $1,700, with free shipping. Neil

    1968 Wheel Choices

I used Legendary on my Black GT/CS. WCCC carries them. $220+/-. Call them to verify shipping cost (if any). Also CJ Mustang carries them and you can order tires with them. They are all 15" wheels with the correct offset. Neil

    For Sale 1968 GT/CS on E bay

Seems to have had front end damage. It looks like a new radiator support panel with the hoodlock pin receptacles missing. Plus the Marti says Power Steering- but it's missing. Neil
