    For Sale Aqua C-Code

It appears to have a P/B Booster (Marti Report does not list PDB option). Has PDB been added or only a PB Booster? And the interior photo- it looks like 2 brake pedal arms attached to the pedal. Neil

    For Sale Aqua C-Code

Looks like it used to have an Export Brace & Monte Carlo Bar (now missing). And Traction bars for a 289? $35K seems OK for the value, but a few corrections need to be done. Neil

1968 Trick to getting brighter dash lights

IIRC, the Cougar H/L switch has higher internal fusing value due to operating 4 headlights when on Hi-Beam as opposed to a Mustang with only 2 headlights on Hi-Beam. The Instrument Light rheostat should be the same resistance on either type of switch. The only way I see the Instrument Lights...

    For Sale 1968 - GT/CS Meadowlark Yellow S Code 390 Auto

Judging by the seller's past types of sales and buyer's comments on what he has sold in the past, it looks like he's dealing with an unfamiliar commodity and thinks he has discovered the Holy Grail. Neil

    1968 Rarest Mustangs Article

Indeed. 251 HCS's. But the Marti's record them as California Specials. The DSO is the only tip-off. Neil

    1968 Upper console installation

I found an article on installing the upper console in an old Mustang Monthly article (2004). Good info for anyone contemplating this addition. Neil

    1968 New acquisition

When we picked up the car and met the seller, it was a good experience. Turns out he restores F-150's (definitely a Ford guy). He's a retired trucker and acquired the CS through a friend of the original owner. She hadn't driven the car in years and it was stored in a garage for 20+ years. (Hence...

    1968 New acquisition

Picked up the GT/CS today in Salisbury, NC. Better than I expected: 70,000 miles (original), all good original body panels, including the grill. Frame & torque boxes all A-OK. MANY new parts: Try-Y headers, exhaust system, gas tank, bumpers, 4 chrome SS wheels. Console, dashpad, headliner are...

Take a look at WCCC's video on loose steering. Lots of good info. You may need to adjust the steering box rather than replacing it. Neil
