    1968 Rarest Mustangs Article

Not sure that the 1982 GT was that rare. They should have included the 4 1966 GT-350 convertibles. Two of which are here in Salem, Oregon. Housed in a semi private collection. Google 'Brothers Collection'. Lots of Youtube videos. Amazing collection of cars. I think that the Brothers...

    Revive an Old Mustang

That Mustang was a parts car, at best. Except for sentimental reasons, there are no financially responsible reasons to 'restore' that car. I like the idea of having a vintage car, that I could daily drive. Something inexpensive and cool. These 'can I make it run' videos help get folks...

    Revive an Old Mustang

That is Derek from Vicegrip Garage. Has a very dry sense of humor. I watch some of his stuff on the youtube. I really enjoy his funny dialog. He is a total family guy, wife and kids come along for some of his trips. The older that I get the more I like the KISMIF approach to old cars. Keep it...

Agreed. Even for the price for 'free'. You would be upside down before you got it finished. Even if a person had the skills of Neil Hoppe.

    1968 Advice on originality

The C Code 289-2V engines did. Ford was phasing out the 289 engines around the time of the strike. By the time that the GT/CS's arrived, I believe that most if not all received the 302 block, with 289 crank and 289 cylinder heads.

    1968 Advice on originality

I would definitely change the fuel tank and the fuel lines. Also, don't be afraid to upgrade to a 1968-69, 302, visually there really is no difference between a 289 and 302 in 1968. Wilwood brakes, use the existing drum brake spindles I believe.

    . please vote

Or ..... with 13 cars, you could have 1 per month, and one for the cover. Do rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock to determine who ultimately wins.

That is weird, I am pretty sure that I voted for 12 cars, one for each month. Thinking only 1 person was going to be disappointed.

For Sale Project: Presidential Blue C-code $15,900, Los Angeles area

That is a later model 302 engine, not the original 289. I agree with Neil with the cost to make this one into a Neil built (non-concours) GT/CS. Neil style, restored GT/CS's, are the preferred alternative to concours. Just me speaking, no flaming. I like his tasteful upgrades that allow...
