    For Sale 1968 GT/CS J-code 4 speed on E bay

Were any of the engine options available with dual point distributor? Personally, I like it a lot. Wasn't sure if I'd like the interior color, but it grows on you. Pretty darn clean car too. I like the tail panel on this one. I'd be surprised if he doesn't get what he is asking. Bret

    1968 Bad Idea?

dalorzo_f, Where did you see the "Not For Title or Registraion". Besides who would want a car that can't be titled or registered and two different engine codes? Like you said, it could be just a door swap, but doubtful that a "C" and "J" code with the same production number. Bret

    Nice weather!

Yep, I had 11 inches as of today. Oh well, rain on the way, oh boy. I'd rather drive in the snow than on the ice. Too bad Boeing didn't call a "snow day". Fortunately on 3rd shift, there isn't much traffic. Bret

Seems to be Eastern Wa. by the area code. Man o Man, it's got some Meats on it. Looks like fender eaters. I'll try and get a call in to find a vin # to see if it's registered. Bret

Maybe this will help. Block Identification The 351W casting number is located on the right side of the block, about halfway down, facing downwards. The code will be a combination of letters and numbers -- for example, "E3AE." In this code, the E represents the decade number and the 3 represents...

    1968 Factory Disc brakes

Marti is correct on the kelsey-Hayes 4 puck system. Guess I should have added that little tidbit of info. Chose that because it all bolts right up to the '68 drum spindles so I didn't have to mess with swapping them. I'm really happy with the system. Bret

    1968 Factory Disc brakes

I must have got lucky in my swap to disc brakes. I found a complete set, L & R on c/l for $80, then found a new set of rotors, c/l again for $60, and replaced 1 caliper for $150, $20 for caliper rebuild kit, $40 for cross-over tubes. Already had the booster and proportioning valve. So, less than...
