Haven't been up here for awhile., just updated the status of a GT/CS I bought off the forum., Had got hit in the front and had some minor pin holes on the roof from moisture getting under the vinyl top going down the seam.
The front only needed a radiator support and battery trey., looked bad when I got it, but when I got it home., wasn't as bad as it looked. Also,. the roof wasn't bad wither., turned out, what looked like rust in the original photos, turned out to be old dried glue!., I had some pin holes to weld up and grind down., but all in all wasn't bad at all. The original motor barely ran., but I got it running good enough to run to the store and check for overheating etc. Runs good now.
The new vinyl top is on and the hood has been stripped and primered. Located some nice rust free doors. The only bad part about the car when I bought it was it was stripped of it's original deck lid and end cap (I still have one original). So if any one has any extras laying around., looking for the deck lid mostly. The aftermarket one I have doesn't fit as well as the original.
The before pict looks pretty nastly, but the repair turned out great. and the new top and headliner made all the difference in the world...just need to find an original decklid. More to come.

Nice job. Glad it turned out better than expected. Sometimes you never know. Keep the pics coming. What else is hid under the covers? Is that a '70 Mach 1 in the garage?

Haha., not a Mach 1., but a Boss 302., if you look very close you can see an edge to another white fastback., that is a 70 also., not a boss., but receiving boss treatment...with a built Lightning roller motor with ford racing aluminum heads, and all the goodies..should run circles around the boss..haha. Actually the boss is history., sold it to a guy in Virginia...along with my 68 GT 390 Convertible and 64 Falcon V8 Convertible...thinning the stable a little to make room for the Cal Special and HCS.
