I see what he intended in using "predating" as the HCS first came out in 66 and CS in 68.

By grouping the fragments incorrectly, (the 251 HCS match to the 68 production numbers) a newb might be lead to think in model year 1968, the 251 HCS were built BEFORE all CS.

Wow, shortest list of options on a Marti Report that I have ever seen. The absolute lowest price 289-2V 1968 HCS likely sold.

A 4 speed would be a nice upgrade! A total bolt in. Uses the same clutch and same drive line. All you need is the 4 speed and linkage.

Nice gas cap. Someone gets to remove the entire tail light panel.

5 obvious glitches I noticed:
The fuel line at the left front should be tight against the frame rail & clamps to secure it.
The fuel line in the engine bay is incorrect/mis-routed with the long hose to the carb.
The HCS decals on the side scoops are backwards.
The tail light bezels black border is incorrect.
The Flat Black paint in the engine compartment should be Satin Black.

First thing, get the shock tower braces or an export brace installed. Those are structural pieces.
The fog lights are all wonky in the grille, should be straight and level. Your eyes are drawn to the them.
The engine is clearly not the original 289. Is it a 302? Is that an Edelbrock 4v carburetor? Has a 302, 4 bolt crankshaft, which came out starting in 1970.
I like the GT rear valance with dual exhaust tips, and the styled steel wheels with GT caps. The upgraded deluxe wood grain dash is also nice.
The description in the eBay ad needs a bit of editing.

Thank you for the feed back, would love help on the editing of the ad, it’s a nice car just needs someone to love it and tweak it to perfection. Where can I buy the High Country decals and do them right. .?
