Keeping the rear spoiler was an odd choice. But, then what do I know what the builder was thinking. "I just like Cadillac tail fins".

Is that why they were called High Country Specials? Perhaps the result of a "Rocky Mountain HIGH"? A good-looking car without the sail panels. I'm surprised they wouldn't get ripped off going down the highway. Must be all those angle brackets screwed into the sheet metal.
