Carburetor suggestions

I’ am wanting a little input on whether to replace or rebuild my carburetor. I Currently have a 4-barrel Carter in my CS. My question is, is it better to rebuild the carter or should I just replace it with a Holley? I would like to know if anyone can provide different options that I may consider (i.e. models, make). Just to clarify, my CS has a 302, automatic trans., and is completely stock. I would also appreciate it if someone can provide part numbers or model numbers for any suggested carburetor.

Thank You,
BP

I think David Athens talked about carbs in a previous thread. Try running a search on his name. It wasn't too long ago.
