Let me jump in and post a few pictures from today's event. I'm sure others will have more to share. We had a nice dinner Saturday night at Claim Jumper (Pic #1). Sunday we met at Starbucks and had a seven car caravan to the show: (Pic #2 - Tworings, Diesel Donna, Joedls, Calif Girl, Russ, Louie and Rananim). Three other Specials were at the show too! Stayed pretty cloudy all day, even had some sprinkles in the morning. CougarCJ and Mustanger stopped by to say "Hi" also. ~Lisa

I was very pleased to have been introduced to the group by Donna.

VERY NICE. I wish I could have been present. It sure looks nice when you have a formation of GT/CSs going down the road like that. I hope to see that very same formation roll in at the August BBQ. Start planning now. HA HA. August 18th. (Can't resist to put in a plug). Mike

I was the one with the Gulf Stream Aqua CS parked in the next row. It was incredible to see that many Specials in one show. I've been to a number of shows and only seen one other work in progress real CS and a couple of wannabes. Unfortunately I had to park cars that morning and couldn't meet to drive in with the group.

I saw your CS and I was going to ask you a question, but you were a little busy at the time, so I figured I'll catch you on the way back ... well I came back and you were gone, bummer ... so here's my question:
Your oval air cleaner seems to have 2 wingnuts on top, but I was wondering, do you have 2 or 1 carb? It seems like the recent oval air cleaners for a 1 carb configuration have only 1 wingnut centered on the top lid ... BTW, 'nice car, you should post some pic's ...

Even though there were several GT/CS's there, no two had the same color combos.

The line-up picture is awesome! I envy you guys in CA.

I think people are really starting to take notice and heavy interest in our unique cars. I think they were in the shadows for a long time and are now coming out to visibility and people are really interested.
