My folks finally got their new CS (to replace the 68 CS they gave me).

Attached are some pics.

They had to order a Torch Red GT and then the three of us kids bought them the CS package options from the Ford Accessory catalog for their 50th wedding anniversary. It was the only way to get the bright red they wanted and still be a CS. We ordered the front and rear valances, scoops, stripes, and gas cap.

They added a couple of things - the Shelby style stripes and the performance exhaust system. I think the stripes and the license plate are great! They say they get more honks and questions now than when they drive around in their restored 65 convertible Pony!

Its a nice car, but are you sure it is a real CS? The side stripe is to low and it has the standard chrome GT emlbem on the side of the car.

Based on the post above they bought a GT not a GT/CS and added the CS parts.
I was confused at first as well (that's not hard for me)

Nice looking car!
