Today was a milestone day.
My GT/CS took it's first run on it's own power in the last twenty five years today. I drove it around the block. Up to about 35 and through the first 3 gears. Runs great and no weird noises, brakes don't pull and I even got the steering close enough it goes fairly straight. Hopefully the muffler shop of choice will be open next weekend. The open headers sure sound great but I'm not sure the local law enforcement would agree.
I'm almost there. More photos when I finish.

Congrats Amy on getting yours running too.

Bill,

Great looking car. Thanks for all of your parts orders! It's great to see what the parts went into. Hope you liked the Christmas present (trunk carpet kit).

Cheers,

Ron

Congrats Bill

I know the feeling you had driving it for the first time in 25 years. Some things you just have to do no matter what the risk. Driving it open headers is a nice touch. Any cop who would scratch you a citation after you explained the reason of excitement would be an Adam Henry in my opinion. LOL.
ps. I am in the profession and I am not that CS, I would probably give you some advise how to make it sound better. Again, Congrats. Mike

Yes, hello and congrats. It's good to almost be running again. My engine bay looks haggard compared to yours. A work in progress, I say!
