I spoke to the owner of this car (Vickie). She said that she bought it new in '68 and has babied it since then. When she replaced the seat covers and gauge cluster she kept the originals. She also kept the original wheels and hubcaps.
She also said that she is too short to see over the hood so she had air shocks installed many years ago. That's a new one on me!!! She also remembers the seat hinge recall.
I'm going to take a look at it Saturday in Clarkston, Washington. She spends her winters in Mesa, hence the 480 phone number, so her brother (Gene) is in charge of showing the car.
If it's as original as she says it may be a great time capsule for someone, or it may end up being just a worn out used car. This will be an interesting inspection!
