Just wondering if the MCA is something that most of you belong to? I've collected other cars and some of the national clubs were worth it and some were frankly not worth it. Thanks.

Good people, good info, decent parts source, well organiized with nice events, friendly and knowledgeable on their show sites, nice participants. Try it, you may like it,too. If not, after a year, $35.00 thereabouts, then move on. Just my take, Bob here.

Thans to both of you for the opinion. Looks like a good investment.

A one year member is $50. There is a special promotion going through local clubs for new memberships for $40. There are a number of member discounts through Cos. like CJ Pony Parts. Part of the web site is open to non members. You can check it out at mustang.org
We would love to have you join us.

Thanks, Marty. We just signed Sara up for a membership. I've talked with her about joining this site too but she is no where near as obsessed with car stuff as I am. I think she likes that I do much of the research and her role is to simply enjoy her car. I'm good with that.

I say it is worth it. I have been an MCA member for years, being a member can get you discounts through vendors, collector insurance, and help if you buy a new Ford with X-plan discount offered to members. If you do MCA shows, you can be judged in these shows and discount to register for the shows. if you have never done an MCA show, try one. It is alot of fun and you meet great people who you will find you remain friends with.

I enjoy what the membership brings me and as green56 stated, I too look forward to the magazine. There are also discounts if you sign up for a multiple year membership.
