Since my last post, I've made some progress on my car. I wanted to complete the car by the end of November, but I didn't make that deadline. The motor is ready to start and I had a great day today when I checked out the electrical system...everything worked! The hood is going on tomorrow and I'm going to work on the deluxe seat belts to get them installed. I found a decent console that I need to restore (I need the seat belt cups if anyone has a couple of extras laying around) and that goes in next. The seats have already been upholstered, so this project should be completed by the first of the year.
I read Jeff's comment about purchasing a car already restored vs. an unrestored one, and he is totally correct. This car had some sentimental value, but it sure has been a MAJOR project!
