Keep in mind that Ford usually states their horsepower at the flywheel which means you'll loose a little going through everything to get it to the rear wheels.

OK Guys,

I ordered an engine - it's all correct, except I'm having it built with the 347 Stroker kit.

My next question is - What is the correct color for the engine? The rebuilder says he has the lighter Ford blue or a little darker blue he calls Mercury blue.

I stand corrected. I don't know where I got 215 HP from. Sorry.
230 does sound correct.
