I would like to see pictures of an original dash with factory installed AC, if anyone could post them please. I'm trying to figure out what the difference is between after market AC and factory installed AC. Also would like to know where the fog light switch should be and what the original AM/FM radio looked like. Any pictures would be helpful! Thanks.

Here are pictures of:
A fog light switch

An aftermarket under-dash system

A correct AM radio - the AM/FM has a slider - maybe someone else can post one

A factory in-dash system

I was hoping someone else would jump in because my camera is so old and low resolution. I guess I'll be getting a new one pretty quick 'cause this is embarrasing, but here's a couple of pics.

Steve, I just researched digital cameras. I can send you a list of models and prices tomorrow if you want it.

Sure! I'm looking for something around 6mp with a 10x or 12x zoom because I like to take pics when I'm rafting and most the time it's scenery at a distance.

Thank you for the pics. They're very helpful. I would like to get a clearer pic of the AM/FM radio if anyone has one.

Sorry Steve, but you are right about your camera. I'm right there with ya - I have a real old cell phone. Everyone teases me about it and asks if it has a rotary dial!

Steve, I just purchased a digital myself. It's an Olympus 810 Stylus with an 8mp lens. Water resistent and with a stabilization feature too. I like it a lot so just a suggestion. Good luck finding what you need.

I saw a commercial once, I think for digital "film" processing, and the guy getting it done was stuck in the stone age, like you and me. At the end he pulled out his cell phone that looked like a WW2 Walkie Talkie. I loved it 'cause I could identify with him. I tend to use something as long as it works and try not to buy the "latest and bestest" because of the inflated price. Six months later, it's reasonable. Guess that partially explains all the old cars.

I almost bought a digital about a month ago, normally $399.00 on closeout for $279.00, and then the guy told me the battery it used was going out of style and might not be around much longer. I thought "Dang- now I have something else to research." I think I'm going to check Arlie's website and then head to Costco, Best Buy, etc.

I'm with you Steve! I don't need the new devises just because everyone else has them. I am happy with what still works. I actually like the old stuff better! For example on our honeymoon we rented a new (at the time) Mustang and about half way into our trip the molding around the windshield came loose and we had to stop and trade it for a 4-door sedan. Our old mustangs never had a silly problem like that! They just don't make things like they used too!!!
