Just finished fitting my new Shelby hood; I bought the hood to gain clearance for my Xtreme Air cleaner setup. The hood came from NPD (Air freight!!!!) its a steel inserted Dynacorn unit , all the original hardware fits and its Alignment is good considering I just unbolted the old one and chucked this one on without paying to much attention to realignment.

Just got back from a fang round the block -------- I cannot believe the amount of increased horsepower / responsiveness. This puppy is now pulling a lot harder than last week; The FPA header upgrade planned for winterb (US summer) should get this COBRA JET breathing even better. I guess by then it will be time to upgrade the carby and pump to allow increased GAS use , the 650 Holley avenger has been trouble free and a great carb – but it wont keep up when I change the headers.
I highly recommend the xtreme air filters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
