I worked on freshening up my instrument gauge this weekend. I had planned on getting some Testors model paint in the correct fluorescent orange (red?) but couldn't find any at my local hobby shop.

But I did find an orange Sharpie paint pen. It ended up being an almost identical match, at least to the current color of my needles. Maybe I'll regret that it isn't actually fluorescent and may not reflect at night quite like it should. But for now at least it appears to be a great color match and was very easy to apply without getting a heavy coat, which would have thrown off the needle weight.

They look good. I use a florescent orange paint pen. It is much easier to apply a even coat of paint.
