Whoa, she's a beauty! You would'nt have any trouble getting her back to original! She's pretty much there! Do you know if the engine is numbers matching?

Is there a metal tag (buck tag) on top of the driver's side inner fender?

Thanks Marion :) but I don't know anything that wasn't known here first. I do know some pretty great people since being here! ...and I know you have to be careful what you wish for! If only we could get time to remain still, so we can fit it all in.

I also know I've never made as good of a "deal" as "hillbilly" seemed to ;-)

pictures really dont show it all this car had been hit in the rear pretty hard in the 70s my dad bought this car in the early 80s and it was black. in the mid 80s he had it painted orginal as it is now. it sat in bacement till a month ago when i bought it. now it needs pass side inner fender and frame rail several rust spots and whoever fixed the rear of this car dident do a very good job. but i look forward to playing with a little at a time

...Understood...But the fact remains you have the real deal that looks decent for the time being with many pleasurable options in hand, be it "rolling restoration" or eventual "rotisserie". Keep the questions coming and with time, any and everything you want to do with this car will fall in place. Real talent is wasted when it's not shared.... and there's too much of it here to be contained! You'll see.......
