OK, it's time to vote for the 2009 CS.com Calendar. Choose your favorite 12 photos. Remember, you only get one chance to vote.

The top 13 cars will have their own month or cover. (I give the choice of the cover shot to the

To help see the images better I've set up a preview page:http://californiaspecial.com/calendar2009.htm
Please look at those full size images closely before voting. You might want to print out that page and choose your top 12, then come back and vote.

I'll keep this poll up until late on Fri Oct 3rd. When voting please pay attention to which checkbox goes with which photo. We don't want any hanging chads this year!

Thanks to all those who sent in your photos and good luck!

I am amazed about how much better the photo's are each year. Great job to everyone who submitted a photo. As always, I look forward to having a new 2009 GT/CS calendar to look at for next year!!

Two separate calendars would cause me quite a few problems.

First, it's twice as much work, which by itself wouldn't be a total deal breaker.

Second, it's more expensive. I can't get the bulk rate since I wouldn't be ordering as many of the same calendar. The price would probably go up $3 per calendar. (so $17 instead of $14)

Third, I run a greater risk of having unsold calendars at the end. Last year I ended up with about 20 unsold because I over estimated. If we had 2 calendars then I'd have even a harder time estimating how many to order and would potentially have even more unsold at the end.

Yeah, I sent everyone who had already voted a PM about it. I screwed up and missed getting it into the original voting. I feel really bad about not seeing it.

So I've asked people to let me know if it changes their votes. You might see a little tweaking as those answers come in.

That's cool - thanks for the update Jon.
I thought I missed something - I hadn't voted yet and went back and didn't remember seeing that one.
.
That's a good and fair way to handle it. Thanks!

Very Tough Decision.

Boy, this was difficult to choose just 12. They are all great looking cars. Casey, I really like your back drop. I was so busy looking at your car it took about three looks before I noticed the Sears tower and realized it was Chicago. Only Sunlit Gold GT/CS in Chicago I know of. LOL. Mike.

There are absolutely some beutiful cars submitted this year. But where's the love for the newer cars? Not one 07-09 model in the top 13 right now?

Joe

I noticed that today as well. I think it is somewhat odd since there is so many very nice pictures of the new cars. I guess all I can say is that I am shocked.

The new CS's won't get many votes here. Most members that vote own the older CS's. Just proves a point.

I voted for 3 of the new ones. I judged the picture on it's merits, not which car was in it (well except for mine of course). I'm sure there are some that will only vote for older ones, just like there are some that will only vote for newer ones, but I think most of us are fair.
