1968 what are screw cover

can some one explain what are window crank screw covers if i can would like to put them on my car thanks Tom

the window cranks are fastened to door via screws.....the screw cover is a small thin aluminium like disc that glues over the area where the screw is -- hiding the screw head and giving a more finished interior...

The rears don't have screws

Well.. they do have a screw, its just a grub style in a different place! :wink:

And they have the flat to accept the insert if you want all 4 to look the same...

Well, look at that! I don't think I've ever needed to replace the covers on the rear handles. Had no idea they use the same covers!!

how does the window handle fit on when you put the disk on were would the handle go

The cover goes on the handle after it is installed.
