...Indeed a little odd. A classy model here & there, fine, whatever (tho not needed w/ these cars) This business of 12 & 13 yr.olds is degrading to the sales effort not to mention "weird".

I used to go to a local cruise night and there was a "family" that attended and the man and wife looked very cheesy cheap and their son's girlfriend would always show up with something nasty on, I mean nasty and she would act like a Playboy pin-up and pose with guys cars. She was actually in her early 20's but looked no more than 12, I swear. That made it look all the trashier. And this is a family event with lots of kids and contests to keep them entertained. This girl would have on thongs with a sheer top and heels, etc. I stopped going to this show because of this family's antics.
I have no objection to the classy pin-up girls of the early days, they were hot. But they kinda get in the way of the car.....

Models

Hello,

For the record, the model in question is 19, and is a sophmore at the UW-Madison Campus. I would never have anyone under the age of 18 pose with any cars. The woman with the GTO is 30!!. It is simply marketing.

Thanks

Marketing - Don't think so. Loose the girl, the car will sell it's self.

The marketing works, this car sold quickly. I didn't care for the swim top that Jenna wore, but we were trying to get a contrast with the colors, and I think jeans look better.

...Okay, now I like the models you feature on the other Mustang, GTO and Camaro. Not so adolescent looking. As for the quick sale - that wasn't a bad price for a 4-speed fastback. at any rate - good job. ;-)

The girls just get in the way. If you want to show your car in a mag so be it, I like looking at mature women in bathing suits. I'll look at both.
Keep the 13 year old girls out of the way and let people see the lines of the car your trying to sell. The little girls don't do anything to help sell your cars.

I agree with Bill. Your cars speak for themselves and you are probably losing bidders by using the preteen-looking models. 86ing the girls would definitely increase your integrity among the bidders and would probably increase your selling prices.

The model in this ad, is the same as with the arcadian blue convertible. The outfit is what stinks...but it's all I had with this car. I will soon have custom shirts that look more like race shirts an I think will look cool.

As far as bidders? The email count for vs. against is about 800 positive, 2 negative...it does not detract from bidding. Note that I use maybe 1 or 2 pics with models, just to get the click.....then it's all car.

I have no trouble selling the cars....since October I have sold over $1,000,000 worth of classic cars.

Will some people be offended? Maybe, but people get offended over all kinds of things. I don't get offended by anything...life is too short.

The model is an ADULT, and loves to pose with the cars...actually all of the models do.

It makes your auctions look cheap, almost Hillbilly, plain and simple.
