The 2015 does make the '68 look tiny. Great visual to point out the 1000 lbs weight difference. Steve

    . Happy Birthday rvrtrash

Thanks everyone! I got to meet two new grand-nieces and then hung out with Arlie looking at a CS. What could be better? The world is a beautiful place! Steve

I told him it sounded fine to me too. Steve

    1968 GT/CS sighting in Idaho

I was out driving around today and saw a red '68 CS pull off of I-90, in Post Falls, and turn north on to Hwy 41. I was wondering if someone from the site was traveling through my back yard. :thumb: Steve

    1968 Brake Light Question

The third symptom would lead me to believe the turn signal switch is bad as well. Steve

1968 Finally getting my HCS on the road again! - Startup procedure

When mine sits for a while, it takes forever to get gas up to the carb again because the engine doesn't turn over as fast cranking as it does at idle and the system isn't primed. Take the air cleaner off and put about 2 tablespoons of gas in the top of the primaries, then turn it over. It should...

For Sale Ebay: 1968 Mustang GT/CS Original/Used Early Fiberglass Trunk Lid

Mine, well Don's (vetteslick) that is currently in my possession, has the rough texture and the rectangular hole for the trunk light, but of course, no trunk light. Steve

    . GT/CS Shirts, Hats, Etc.

Steve, I'll be going to Seattle several times this summer. If you head south from time to time, and we can arrange a mutual time, I could bring it over and save you the shipping. Steve

    1968 dieelectric grease

I use electrical contact cleaner to clean connections and sockets. It comes in a spray can, like carb or brake cleaner. If you really want to get carried away, you can polish the contacts with some steel wool. Steve

    For Sale GT/CS Convertible

Looks like a nice car, although I would've preferred a complete Shelby nose with the '68 hood, over the short '67 hood. The "427" must be a stroker 351W. It's not an FE. Still, that's what I would have done as well to save weight on the front end. All in all, seems a fair price for what you're...

I'm running a Comp Cams in mine as well, although it's a bit more aggressive, and I like it. Steve

1968 Help Me Find a Quality CS

Hey, I slowed down and let you catch up......eventually. At least I didn't go sideways in the street, like I did with Rob's beast. Of course I had my granddaughter with me so I had to try and pretend to be somewhat respectable. :icon_evil Steve

1968 Help Me Find a Quality CS

Still looking at a couple of years Rob. I want to finish the Fairlane convertible first, which is why I was originally going to wait until at least next year to sell. However, I think Don will be a good addition to the site and take good care of my car. Steve

1968 Help Me Find a Quality CS

Just because the kids move out, doesn't mean that they're not still family! I'll just have to visit Rob and Tim more often so I can get my fix. Besides, I think Arlie is going to give me every opportunity to be around CS's for a while. Steve

1968 Help Me Find a Quality CS

Yes, Arlie emailed me about this and I just emailed vetteslick. I've contemplated selling mine to fund the boss project, since I haven't really driven it much the last two years, but was going to wait until next year. If it doesn't sell, I'm going to hit up the Bellevue show and a couple of...
