Trunk lid to rear 1/4 extensions

Yep, looks like pretty typical foam tape, medium density. I can measure it up tomorrow and will post dimensions....I'm guessing about 3/4" wide x 5" long by 3/16" thick...

    1968 Hood pin cutouts

I can't get my head down under the lower lip of the hood to find a date stamp. Ones I've seen are on the trailing edge, no easy sight angle while its on the car. The plates under the locks have 3 small bolts. The locking twist pins pull right out. The "white goo" is just paint or corrosion...

Trunk lid to rear 1/4 extensions

One side on my CS has a rubber strip on the underside of the deck. Was this provided from the factory to prevent the two fiberglass parts banging together, or a PO modification....??? Photo...

    1968 Hood pin cutouts

In looking at the CS when cleaning it up and debugging a fuel delivery problem I notice the cutouts in the hood are pretty ragged. I believe the car has had a front ender in its past, the lower valence has black backside, sign of later repro or more recent Ford replacement as I believe OEM...

    . 68 rear radio bracket

Thanks for the link, I have one of those handy. Was looking for the non-console. Got off my butt and pulled the Shelby console from the '68 convertible, was hoping to avoid that, but it was only 20 minutes in-and-out, and removed the bracket on that one. Fabbed up a very close replica from a...

    . 68 rear radio bracket

Not CS realted, but a similar part. Getting closer on the S GT coupe. Dash wiring/AC underway. Bought the car in pieces and the bracket for the rear of the radio is missing. Looks like a bendy-bit, anyone got a photo of one and some approximate sizes, as it looks like it would be pretty...

1968 fake gt/cs for sale in Australia.

In his defense Mustang prices here are really high. The market has not corrected much even as the Aus $ climbs to almost parity with the USD. I paid $22.5k for a CS survivor in far worse shape. You are hard pressed to find a nice driver of any type for less than 15-20k, so the somewhat unique...

1968 fake gt/cs for sale in Australia.

Sent him a note as well. Missed the point, said he wasn't saying it was a GT, nothing about it not being a real CS! Buyer beware...!!!

    Deluxe interior pictures

Debating adding the door trims to a non-deluxe I am modifying. I see NPD sells the trim panels, I am assuming they screw to the door. Looking at minimal molestation to the car, so it can easily be reverted back to its original condition if I ever resell, or just want to go back to original...

    1968 Marti report question

Elite is not a statistical report, it is designed to drill to as few an "x of y" result as they can find. A nice feel-good result to show how "special" a lime gold, blue interior, 6 clylinder, power brake car is ... (I hope no one bought one, but they could tell you!) They will adjust...

    1968 Marti report question

You can get a statistical report on "how many" of pretty much any combination of options... runs $80. There is a form you fill in to pick year, body style, engine, options, etc, etc takes them abot a month or two... I got a couple for my non CS/GT '68 390's...

    . 1967 Bullitt

To make a Bullitt takes very little effort. IMHO not worth any more than any other fastback in similar condition. Dark green, some black trim paint, remove badges, some rims... a few other cosmetic items... not really anything special to me...
