I've heard that 351 exhaust manifolds are as good as, or better than, the hi-po manifolds. Is that true?

Where in the rev range do you want the power? Many hp upgrades don't show up until you're over 3500rpm. If you want it to come on at lower rpms you need more torque.

When I looked for California Specials to purchase I immediately disregarded all the cars with strokers, or 'big cams', because I was more interested in reliability than power that may be short lived. Those items also made me wonder how hard the car had been driven.

That'll require a roll bar. Below 10.00 requires a roll cage.

It seems to be gone. Must have sold it.
