Hmmm, good question. I guess the screws will hold everything together so the putty isn't required, as long as you stay out of the rain and be careful when you wash the car. BTW, I have some good reflectors if anyone wants to replace their rusty ones.

The lens should be attached to the reflector with window-type putty.

According to the vacuum diagrams they seem to be separate. AC is near the firewall and Tilt is under the battery tray?

Yes there are various methods to install headrests. Based on factors involved with this particular situation I decided the best method was to purchase some Cougar seat backs on eBay.
