One of my nephews in Eastern Washington needs a 300 cubic inch straight six for his '66 F100. They were built from 1965 until sometime in the '90s. If anyone knows of a good one for little money he'd love to hear about it. Thanks

I'm considering ordering a rebuilt 3rd member from an on-line company. I ordered one from JawsGear a few years ago and was happy with it. Is anyone familiar any other good rear-end rebuilders?

We have roughly 90 cars in the registry with build dates before 2/15/1968 and another 100 built on 2/15/1968. These are build dates from the cars' data plates, not from Marti reports.

No, deluxe belts have chrome trim.

There should be two belts bolted to the floor on the driveline hump. Two on each side for a total of four.

Here is the Marti. It is a true J-code GT/CS. I'd love to have a red one but the color change from yellow and the funky riveted floor pans are too much for me. ETA The seller says they are not rivets, just 'factory markings'.

Interesting observation. They do look like pop rivets!

He doesn't have a Marti but claims the car is in Paul's first book. I can't find 152502 in that or any subsequent registry so I've ordered a Marti. ETA He now says the VIN is 152506, which means it is this car...
