    . Drag Radials

A line lock would be great, I did not have one. I would pump the brakes before staging. At the light I would then keep one foot on the brake and rev the engine into the torque curve (2,500-3,000 RPM) - as high as you can go without spinning the wheels at the light and spinning them off the...

    . Drag Radials

I raced 3 seasons in my HCS with Nitto NT555R drag radials and was not pleased with their performance. I'd also recommend 16-18psi as a starting point. Also, once you go through the waterbox. I like to count to 3 after they start to spin and I see smoke. I will be interested to see how the...

    Paxton supercharger

Craig Conley, Paradise Wheels is the expert on the older paxton systems. A while back I was looking at buying a GT350R clone with a paxton on it and had a brief conversation with him. Seemed like a good guy. Phone: (760) 740-0954 (might be an old number) edit - Just found on the interned...

Good one! Just need enough wrenches to be able to Fix Or Repair Daily (FORD). That was a nice looking Tbird. White, if I remember correctly. Should be a fun project.

1968 REAL Green Hornet up for auction

1968 Help identifiying a CS car!

You are missing the tail lights, not an inexpensive addition. In my opinion, lots of money to add to a Mustang Coupe.

    1968 My 68 GT/CS build has begun

Wasn't body color with the snap on chrome accent pieces an option on the styled steel wheels?

    1968 Radiator overflow tube

Here is what I currently have. It is 10" long by 3" round. Bad choice by me, too short and fat. I think 15" would be ideal, that is what I had on my HCS. 17" is probably ok. I thought I had pictures of the overflow on the HCS before I sold it, but can't find any. Attached are the 10"...

1968 Cougar GTE at Mecum Indy

When I was 17 in the late 1970's I drove a green 1970 XR7 with a 351C 4V and that car would shred tires. I have always wanted an Eliminator with a 302. Maybe I am not looking often enough or in the right places, but it seems the special edition Cougars very rarely come up for sale.
