IIRC, the neutral/start switch provides power for the back up lites. You may need to adjust it. Neil

LED's & NEW blue diffusers will make a world of difference. WCCC has a video on this. Neil

You might want to replace the old blue diffusers. They become cloudy over the years. and fresh ones are much better. Neil

I've used NPD's Ford Engine Blue, P/N AP-EBP, and was quite happy with the color & longevity.
