. Granite State Nationals in NH this weekend

Anyone going to be at the Granite State Nationals in New Hampshire this weekend? I'm heading up but without either Mustang. I know Marty is supposed to be there. Marty, if you see this I'll be at the show Saturday for sure. I'll be walking the field with my GT/CS shirt on

    50th Anniversary Party

Hi Everyone! Haven't been on the site in while. Is there anyone planning on attending the Granite State Nationals in New Hampshire, Labor Day Weekend? I'm planning to go. Not sure if I'm taking the CS or my 96 yet or going Stang-less yet. Just curious who else might be planning to go.

    8/21/2017 traveling on i80

Pretty sure it's them Marty. Comparing the license plate with pics I have of the car from Carlisle 2008 I'd say yes. We parked next to each other that year. Very nice car and people!!

What are you towing and what are you towing it with?

What year F150? Should be able to find this online for other years. This is for the 2015 which I happen to have. Haven't towed with it (yet) to be able to provide feedback. http://www.ford.com/resources/ford/general/pdf/towingguides/15RV&TT_Ford_F150_r1_Jan12.pdf

    1968 FantomWorks

I DVR'd it and was no GT/CS in there. I even went back and rewound in case I dozed off during part of it  All the descriptions say there's a GT/CS in it except the Velocity site, they got it right. Hopefully it's in another episode. Velocity Mike thought his 1967 Chevy K10 Pick Up...

    1968 Gas Cap leaking

I do like your approach Rob and something I may consider longer term. I'll miss kneeling and paying respect to my car when filling up. Can't forget the pad of paper towels on the bumper under the gas cap to catch any overflow in case I miss that gurgle  For now I'll just drive more...

    1968 Gas Cap leaking

That's an option Arlie. Didn't consider that to be honest. Definitely a less expensive option to the alternative. Did you cover the filler or only around the filler?

    1968 Gas Cap leaking

Resurrecting this thread. That gasket isn't working anymore and tired of having a stream of gas on my driveway after filling up and maneuvering into the garage. A little incline and it's pouring out when full. I saw a GTO pull out of the gas station once and the gas was coming out as he...

    1968 Rear Valance

I have the valance, dual exhaust AND the GT caps. Oh and a prior owner converted the 289 2V to 4V. Shhh... don't tell anyone :icon_disg

    1968 Rear Valance

I agree Neil. Had to have the GT Option added. Only 302 and higher engines were eligible for the GT option, 6-cylinders and 289's were not. And something got the GT option standard (428 maybe?). As Marty stated many of us have the dual exhaust and valance on our 289s. (Guilty as charged :scared:)

    1968 Just some old photos

Curious. Do you know where the middle picture was taken? Was it a car show of some type or other event? Curious why it seems the Ford Fairmont or maybe it's the Mercury variant that's behind it is up on ramps or a display of some type.
