    intresting price trends GT/CS

The 135s were the first few (100?) 1968.5 428CJ fastback Mustangs. They were all white cars, IIRC, and low optioned. I think a lot or most were used on the track. There may be more info on the 135 series cars on the CJ Forum.

El Segundo is a very, very long way away! When you hit Newport, on the Oregon coast on 101, head inland on Highway 20 (or 34 if you want the ultra scenic route) and stop and visit us. We're very near I-5. Better yet, if you're coming late August, come over and hook up with us and caravan to...

The Gulfstream Mach is the husband's car. Driving it up from Oregon Thursday night, on Pony Trails Friday, and back home was the most miles we have EVER put on the car...it blew a head gasket shortly after we bought it in 2001, and--let's just say--there were a few "while you're at its" in...

    428CJ 40th Anniversary

I just have the kind that is self-contained with it's own complete harness for the kid. It is secured in the back seat with the lap belt. A Britax, IIRC. My kid isn't quite four, and she only weighs not quite 40#, so she's not in the booster system yet. She rides around in the back on the...

    What is a '68 GT/CS Worth?

Almost 3 years ago, I sold a 100% original paint/interior, 100% rust-free, 78K mile (documented) J code non-GT (VIN-stamped C-4 rebuilt w/zero miles) for $6000. It did run, but did not drive (non-original block, original heads; rebuilt and replated by Pony Carbs original carburetor; the VIN...

    MNW Roundup in Wa-who's coming?

We're coming and bringing up two Mustangs, but no CS/GT this year, unfortunately :-( Look for us in my husband's '69 Gulfstream Aqua Mach and some other Mustang that I'll be driving (depends upon what's currently running and reliable by then!).

    selling my 1968 gt/cs

I think the auction presentation is a BIG factor in $$$ on eBay. It amazes me how much the professional-style auctions can bring for a car, compared to the regular Joe's auction (like me, for example)--and often the regular person's car is obviously better but still gets a lower price. Plus, I...

OK, I have to admit that my aging eyes have a hard time with this particular forum, but this one IS totally unique as is.

    Another Wa. GT/CS

If this was the car in the back lot at the Portland swap meet, I recall them asking around $13K...? After looking at the engine compartment and the tops of the inner fenders, I'd have to have a couple of hours with this thing up on a lift and take up all of the carpet and pull out the seats...

Don't need the car, but I wouldn't mind buying the "spare" engine and tranny!

Sell my GT/CS to buy a 69 Mach?

1969 original rear wings sag in the middle. The problem of too weak material for horizontal rigidity was corrected with the 1970 wings.

Sell my GT/CS to buy a 69 Mach?

Where is the car now? And what is the DSO on the door tag?
