1968 1968 GT/CS black stripe kit needed.................

Hi everyone......5281 here.
I purchased a no name stripe kit many years ago and just opened the box today. The stripes are all cut with 90 degree corners. I am in need of a quality kit that I do not have to trim to fit. Where can find such a kit?

Thank you for your reply. I have seen the national parts Depot websites and the kits that they offer. I have included a picture of their website showing the kit. As can be seen, all of the stripes are cut at 90° ends. Does anyone make a kit with the fender stripes that have curved ends that follow the contour of the fender lip?

They are on my Monday morning call list also. They advertise their stripes as exact copies of the OEM.

There is a pattern in the GT/CS book. It is a very simple matter to cut it to that contour. It gives you more flexibility with the length. Note is very easy to stretch them when applying them.

I also had it in my mind that the stripe kits were pre-trimmed to match the angle of the wheel openings. But I just pulled out my Graphic Express kit (which I should be installing soon) and all the edges are square. As Ruppstang says, they will be easy enough to cut.

I've attached a scan of their install instructions too, in case that's helpful to anyone.
