I can be ready at the crack of daylight. We should scout out a place on Saturday .....all entrants must come in one way only and that would be to go north on Beach Blvd. to La Palma and turn right. We can talk at dinner about this. Joe have you been to this show before?

One year, I told the folks at that show to have ALL the GT/CS cars park together. They did, however, the parking person that morning says: "oh, someone told us to park all the Cal Special cars together <Sigh>".

I said. "That would be me". Then I smiled.

I remember that year Paul! It was great because there were about ten of us parked in close proximity. Tell 'em again!

"who's going and where do we meet" thread. If you're going to register you should do it quickly. It's a sold out show every year. More info here: http://www.fordcarclubs.org/

Sorry Guys,

I'm booked that weekend here on the RIGHT coast! I'll be driving my 68 Yellow HCS in the Azalia festival parade in Wilmington, NC. I should be on TV locally here!...lol...If you don't feel like Knotts Berry Farm, CA for that weekend, then meet me at the Krispy Cream Donut Shop early Sunday Morning for some Coffee and GT/CS HCS chat.

Maybe us west coasters could give you guys a call at Krispy Kreme (right in the middle of your Krullers and Koffee) on cell phones and say hi!

Yes, Im planning on coming to the show, but I won't get to bring the CS. It's part of a business trip, and research for the book, too.

We'll have to plan some sort of CS / HCS owners' Dinner event the night before. Maybe at Downtown Disney, or there in Buena Pk. Lots of cool places & good food.

Yep! I already entertained that idea. But I think he charges 200 bucks for an autograph on your cars or parts and it goes to his children's foundation. It might clash with my Bobby Sherman autograph on the pedal car though, LOL!

I knew about the dinner idea being kicked around; I was just keeping the idea alive by mentioning it again. Claim Jumper works for me!

I hear that at the same time, the GT/CS pedal car folks are meeting
at the local "In and Out Burger" drive through (pedal-through?)...

Hey gang,
I work on Saturdays and Sundays so if I can get Sunday April 9th off, I'll plan on being there. Should know within a day or two if I'll be able to make it. I work evenings on Sat so I'll miss the dinner but if I can make the show, I'll be there early on Sun for coffee and donuts! My CS needs a paint job so won't be the prettiest CS there, but it's comin around. Hope this works out. Looking forward to meeting some of the gang.
