You're right!!! The car was my uncle joe's. I told him I'd be the caretaker, but the car would always be his even after he passed on.

Donna,
I have no cup holders in the CS!!! So we'll have to get the java when we get there. I'll bring some fresh Krispie Kreme's though. It's right off the freeway in Burbank on the way to Knott's. The donuts will be about 30 minutes old by the time I get there. Will that work??????

I am thinking about going, if I can get the time off. However, I need to put my drip rails on first...Anyone want to tell me how I get the drip rails on? I have had some trouble with this....

I don't blame you ... wish I could hook up with some CS owners out East.
Sometimes I'm the only Mustang that shows up at a show or cruise let alone another CS.

Even out here, unless I am at Knott's I am always the only CS there. I have never even seen a HCS in person.

And for some odd reason, when I show my ambulance..it's always the only one there too!

...just be glad that "In and Out Burger" doesn't sell Hot Dogs!

(people back east are going: "What's an "In and Out Burger"?).

Think: White Castle with palm trees in red and orange.

Then, of course, there are the sophisticated members of society who get, "In and Out Burger" bumber stickers and remove 2 letters.

I know what an In and Out Burger is.

I recall one in Pasadena or probably Arcadia area while being there on business.

MMm... I checked their site and there is one in Pasadena and one in Arcadia.
Maybe it was both then. The one in Pasadena was on the same street as my company and the Arcadia was near my hotel.

But I do know what it is :icon_lol:

They do appear to be anti-Mustang ... or at least anti-Ford and GM.
Their intro "movie" on their site is very Mopar-ish

Paul..then I'd have to drive a Weinermobile.
I don't think they have Weinerschnitzel on the right coast either.

Man ... such abuse for the RIGHT Coast in this thread  ...

At first I'm like ... heck yeah we have Weinerschnitzel ... then I thought ... mmm :ponder: ... maybe it's a place and not just a German entree.
So I looked up their site and sure enough it's a place.
No we don't have those.

But do they have a weinermobile like the Oscar Mayer car?
Do you have Oscar Mayer way out yonder?

It used to be called Der Weinerschnitzel. And yes we have OM on the left coast.

SOMEHOW, I easily can see Donna driving around in a wienermobile. it's a Freudian thing, I guess....

We need a poll for the Knott's show(so we can get a headcount):

1. I'm definately going, with my car

2. I "might" go; I might bring my car

3. I'm there in spirit, from the midwest, or east coast

4. I'm bringing donuts and coffee, for sugar and caffeen'd Mustangers

 I`m #3. I`ll only be there in spirit from the Midwest. Take lots of pictures of your cars and yourselves guys and gals and post them here. I`m sure lots of us that can`t make it will be dying to see them.

Hey Donna, are you a Bobby Sherman fan? Did you meet him in person to get that signature? or are you just kidding? I was his biggest fan when I was 5 years old. I still had one of his albums, but lost it in a house fire 10 years ago.

Going for sure

I was able to get off work on Apr 9th so I'll be there for sure with CS. I'll be sending in my apllication and check tomorrow for the show registration. I know some of you are getting together for dinner Sat. night. Sorry I'll miss that, but definitely looking forward to Sunday. Let me know when and where everyone is going to meet to drive into the show. Are we going to be able to park the cars together??
