GT/CS Baseball Caps?

I just received a "Mach 1" cap as a gift and it's pretty nice. I also bought a "Boss 302" cap a few years back. I was wondering if anyone has seen "GT/CS" baseball caps over the years? I'm a big fan of Mach 1's and Boss 302's, but I actually own a California Special (yeah, its an 07, not a "real" one) and thought having a cap would be neat.

I've thought of making caps, too...in fact a line if things for the late model GT/CS owners.

I'm obtaining a license from Ford to make "GT/CS" items like this (both 1968 and 2007-2008), and I'll add caps to the list. Ford has owned the "GT/CS" trademark since Jan 2006.

I'll get back to you--and over to the 2007 GT/CS boards ASAP to talk about it, too.

thanks!

Keep me in mind, as you know I own a 07 GT/CS. I would be very much interested in a license plate frame that says something like this,07 GT/CS someday to.

I`d love to have a GT/CS light windbreaker jacket. I already have a nice GT Mustang 40th Anniversary lined jacket. It has lots of cool patches on it.

...Using a low-res pic from HG's gallery ;-) We can't do plate frames, but we can do decals that can be put on frames. They can be produced at the ready...

Thanks Midnight but I am looking for something embroidered. not a "trucker style" cap.

I bought the GT/CS polo shirt from the forum (which has the 68 GT/CS font), but I'd love one with the new style font found on my 07. Between that and a hat, I'd be set. :)

There's a 2007 GT/CS board?

Just so everyone knows, These items above would not be considered "licensed".

My items will reflect the proper, exact font, stripe proportions, fade effect, sophisticated style, etc. (I am also a graphic artist).

...there is one board for 2007-2008 GT/CS members. Kevin Casey just added a $5k Roush Supercharger to his GT/CS.

thanks!!

So what exactly does it cost or entail to get your products "licensed" Paul?

No worries ob' Mine are quick, innexpensive, for fun and exclusive only to friends on this site. I can work with you to do any design, font , image you want, but sorry -not ebroidered... 'Never claimed to be "official" or "end all" like our friend "on high" who has only produced promises and one-upmanship in this arena for the past year I've been a member here... Some of us simply love to "do" while another seems to only postulate.

Can we please keep the bantering off this web site? It seems to be escalating, and it is not useful to anyone but those bantering. Our site is well known as a class-act site and we should keep it that way. I like what both of you guys are doing for the GT/CS & HCS - but prefer to keep to the topic to the GT/CS & HCS.

Please pardon my forwardness.

Thanks, Casey

I totally agree with Casey. Paul & Tim, if needed I can put you both on each other's ignore list so you can't see what the other posts, but I'm hoping it can be handled better than that.

Thanks!

Just to get the record straight you should be, with twice this past few weeks. I'm just another one of probably many others that don't care for your put downs and they COULD be quite threatening, too, to some site visitors. What's your beef with Newitt, anyway? Private email me if you like or call me is better 303-424-3866. We could perhaps even discuss you moving on to other sites or whatever else will "set you free". With this being said, let's hope that you're sorry enough that we can close out this direction of the thread and I thank you (being the owner of bla, bla, bla) for reading my comments, AMEN. Bob Teets here.

Bob, have you ever heard of overselling the deal? That's when a salesperson has the deal wrapped up but keeps talking, or when the sales manager steps in. Either way the sale is then lost.

So, when a person apologizes for his behavior it's usually best to leave it at that. Stoking the coals just restarts the fire.
