Me too, I thought we were seeing another 428 making itself available!

Highland Green is a nice color, but Arlie, you said that the owner claims the car is not in Newport Beach? I was thinking about checking it out if it was there, but not if it's in New York ...

I'll be in New York in a few days.....

Although Arlie stated later on that he thinks the car may be in Newport, what's the occasion for the N.Y. visit? Picking up another car??

Mustanger...I am delivering my late Dad's truck to my stepmom in Western New York. I am towing my Suburbanator on a trailer so I have a way back home to CA. I could have flown but that's no fun and I need to haul some big items that have been in Dad's garage since the 50's. So I will have an empty car trailer to go westbound....that's horrible don't you think?
I am in Joplin, MO. for a few more days and am eyeballing the Model A in the neighbor's garage.

You could always do some trolling with that trailer. I know of a house in Houston with some neat cars parked out front!

You mean he doesn't have them in a garage!!!???

(Just give me an address, hee hee.)

I'm one of those people that constantly scopes out people's backyards, sideyards, barns, fields you name it.Oklahoma and New Mexico are loaded! And I REALLY like taking the backroads.

There is a building in a tiny village I lived in years ago that has always been rumored to have some old cool cars in it but nobody knows what they are or who owns the building. I may have to do some serious snooping.....is Nani up for some snoopdoggin'?

I learned something new today. I always thought old California plates were black with yellow letters. Now I find out it's gold letters. mmmm

On that guys feedback, one negative and two positive from who? They don't show up as buyers or sellers???

I'm wondering if the feedback isn't showing because it's so old, 2001 and 2000.

Holy Grail

I've tried to contact this guy asking him questions over the past couple of days, but he seems not to reply to me, i like the car and i am very interested in it, perhaps the reason why he is not answering is because i am across the pond in England?

Is the sale kosher i wonder?

  Gordon Gekko LIVES "Greed is GOOD"

I don't like to see good mdse wildly overpriced. It seems like a nice vehicle as described, but this is over the top. Maybe in 10 years it won't be, but for now,:icon_no:
