Gt/cs Poster Iformation

WELL hello again gents. does anyone know were i could obtain a old poster or copy of the gt/cs(POSTER) , so i can make a presention board for display at the ford dealer here because they are showcasing their new 2006 mustangs ,and would like my GT/CS there .I think that this is quite a honor to be asked to display my car along side these vehicles. any information from you guys and gals would be helpfull. thanks TERRY...................

Terry, I saw the posters for sale on ebay recently for about $12.00

It's a rear 3/4 shot of a white CS, with the CS script written across the bottom portion.

Hope you can find one.

There's also a foldout brochure/poster that was a dealer literature giveaway in 1968. It has pictures on front and back and has info on the car, accessories, etc. Its a very good poster to use to educate someone on a GTCS. Sometimes you see them for sale on ebay. Or, there's a website where you can buy it - it may be a reproduction of the original literature.

Based on the description the poster at the website the one I'm talking about is Item #B8960 - I think .Unfortunately, the picture just shows the side of the poster with the car. The reverse side is the side with all the really interesting info and multiple pics.

I got mine from dodgerbillp as well. Great to deal with and it was in great shape and now is displayed in a frame anytime I show the car. Will probably pick up another at some point.

i found that poster that is on e-bay from dodgger bill or bob? . placed a bid on it and see how it goes. thanks terry. now can anyone find me a am/fm radio for the car. dont want to use after market stuff.

Bringing this topic back.

I was given one of these posters today. Trying to find a thread on the contents, didn't find it though. Maybe there has not been a thread on details of this featured red GT/CS?

It has California black license plate VRT 717, anyone have, or know where it went?

There is no "California Special" script on the rear quarter panel, it does have the late style reflector too, not the painted framed recessed one.

Poster is dated 2/68.

Cant answer your questions but just a general FYI since the topic came up...

You can now buy reproductions of this poster from Mustangs Unlimited for $9 (I noticed it in the latest catalog. First time I've seen it in a mainline Mustang catalog - but may have missed it previously).
