Well, since we all endeavor to make each of our cars just a little bit individual, we've made a very small change to ours.
I suspect that ours is the first distinctly Canadian "GT/CS" .... so does that now make it a "GT/CDN/CS"?

MMMmmmm .... :ponder:

I say it's just a photo for 3 reasons... either a photoshop job or a picture of another script.

1. The Ca is from the original script with the beginning of the "L" of CaLifornia starting the "n" in Canadian. The rest ("nadian") is a little darker.
Still could have been made from original script using the Ca... to start.
There does appear to be a shadow below though ... mmm

2. The angle of the Canadian and Special seem different - could just be the lighting and angle.

3. This is the one that did it for me. The "dot" on the "i" in Canadian is separate from the rest of the word unlike it is in Special.
That mean it would require another hole just to mount the "dot".
That doesn't seem likely to me. And I don't think you would glue on the dot.

So am I right? huh? huh? what do I win??? :icon_ecst

But I do admit very well done!!! And a very cool concept!!
How was it done?

I could see the "d" in Canadian being made using an "a" and then extending it somehow to make the "d". The rest of the letters are available in California already and could have been moved around.

But if you blow up the picture definitely a difference between the texture of the "Ca" and the "nadian"

I feel like I'm on CSI or Law and Order or something!

Great job though!

Real nice Grisolm...couldnt just let us appreciate it eh? Had to break it down and reconstruct it eh!! (that emoticon is holarious!)

Guess that makes sense with all the practice breaking down true versus clone CS and HCS on the forum from pictures? Good stuff Rich!!

Sorry couldn't resist ... just kept scratching my head looking at whether it was real or not and the dot on the "i" jumped out at me. We still don't know if I'm correct yet.

Hit the "More" link at the bottom of the emoticons there are a few more to choose from!

Time to "fess up" ....

OK, OK, I guess it's time to "fess up" and admit that it WAS a "PhotoShop" job put together by my extremely talented step-daughter Cheryl Lemoine of Winnipeg. She is a computer "geek-ette" that does professional web design and graphic arts work for a living. I emailed her the basic idea and asked her if it would be possible to alter an existing photo to read "Canadian Special" instead of "California Special" and of course she said it would be fairly easy to do. The next day she sent me the "doctor-ed" version and of course I couldn't resisit posting it here just for a lark! She did do a great job on the photo, and it appears that it had a few of you scratching your heads by the looks of the comments posted on the thread .... I should have given her a bit more time to work on the project instead of rushing her, and she might have caught the small error of the detached dotted "i" in 'Canadian" before we posted it.
Shucks! Now I guess you won't trust anything that I post here anymore, will you?
I guess there is no sense posting the "General Lee" version with the Canadian flag on the roof of the "Canadian Special", huh?

"Broadway Blue"s winning prize ....

... oh ... and by the way, "Broadway Blue"s winning prize is a Tim Horton's double/double coffee and a Tim Horton's donut! Just give me a buzz next time you're in Victoria and I'll run you down to Tim's in the "Canadian Special" to collect your prize!

One more thing ....

.... oh ... and one more thing for "Broadway Blue"!
I'm assuming that "CSI" means "California Special Investigator" right?

LOL! Good One!
Tell her great job on the picture!!

I've been told Tim Horton's is to Canada what Dunkin' Donuts is to the USA.

Was up in the Quebec and surrounding area in 2001 but never stopped in one.

I never pass up a good cup of joe. I'll take you up on that offer
