1968 Marchal Pedestal Sleeve

Hi

Does anybody know where to get the 1 " sleeve that is correct for the Marchal Fog Light mount? Is it being manufactured or reproduced on this site?

I know the Shelby hardware used a 1" sleeve as well but not sure if they are the same?

On second thought I'd probably use PVC pipe. It's easier to cut and bevel.

What do you think of this? Matches A.O. Smith Blueprints pretty closely. Still don't know if this is correct for 1968 GTCS with Marchal from factory .

If you can find the inside diameter and the length, the "teeth" can be hand filed into it. Once installed they will disappear behind the light.

Diameter of Marchal mounting stud is .051 (1/2 inch?)
Length should be 1"
I'm going to look for some type of metal 'sleeving' that will work,
as I also need a pair.

From what I'm seeing, the Marchal and Lucas lights have DIFFERENT size threaded studs.
The Marchal mounting stud is 1/2" diameter (+/- due to being Metric).
The Lucas mounting stud is 3/4" diameter (+/- due to being Metric).

I will make a pair and see how they turn out. We should be good with the 3/4 Thin Conduit tubing. I am going to use Stainless Steel not Steel. Measurements are the same and both can be painted.

Should be able to replicate the spurs by filing the teeth in. Start at 12, 6, 3 and 9 o'clock at 45 degree angle and they divide equally? Thoughts?

This is the correct drawing for the ER-1706 project. That is the engineering number assigned to the California Special Mustang. The spacer shown is an original spacer. Note the knurleing on the end is straight cut fine knurled, not 45 degree cuts shown on the Shelby drawing. No bevel on the other end. Hope this helps.
