I hope you don't mind that my GT/CS is an 07. I love the originals and proud that I own a remake of a orignal Classic. With 07's being limited (5% production) one day, mine might have the same appeal as the 68.

Welcome

jsully65,

Welcome!!! I think that the new GT/CSs are great, and I think that if we have more of the new '07 CS owners come here and join our site, the better ... Paul Newitt is handling the CS registry for the '68s and the '07s, you may want to get in touch with him ...

Hey JSully65: Beautiful car and Welcome to the site. We all share a love for the California special both old and new. I know a fella in our local mustang club that has a white '07 convertible. I told him about this site and he wondered how the folks on this site might react to new CS owners. I think there's plenty of room for all of us. Join in, it should be fun.

Hey JSully!

This is Paul Newitt...

Since you are registered, you can send "private messages". If you have any questions or comments, please "PM" me. I'd be glad to help!

You don't happen to be in So. Calif, do you? I'm looking for a white (or red, or lt. blue) '07 GT/CS for some photography with the '68 versions (next month).

FYI--there is another site, just for your car:

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=50582

It's kind of like a sister site to this one....but our webmaster is working on a "space" to add for the late model versions...

Welcome! Your GT/CS looks awesome! (get a look at the new Hertz Shelby GT, and the Shelby GT (out soon for dealers), and you'll see the CS family resemblance..(more than you might think).

JSully, welcome to the world of California Special Mustangs. And congratulations on your 07 Cal Spec.....very nice. I've been tampted to drive my 68' to the local Ford dealership to show off and perhaps take some pictures. I live in New England, so you don't see many California Specials out here, and there is always a question about just what exactly is this car all about. Have fun with your new car, and enjoy the cross section of members you'll see on the web site.

What do you mean "unfortunately"? There's about 3 more regulars here, one or two that have popped in in the past, and more in Montana, Wash. Oregon, BC. What part of the state are you in?

Steve, I said unfortunatly for the reason that Paul was looking for a 07 GT/CS for a Photo op in So Cal. Trust me, I love living in Idaho. I'm in the Boise area

Nice car!! My black 68 and your white 07 would make for some nice pictures. We will have to get together before the snow flies - I am in Boise.

Welcome from one new generation GT/CS . If they welcomed me in. You can always check my pictures. Here is mine and what I done to the dull black strips on my black "07". See what I mean!!!Are you sure that is all they are making of the "07"'s? This was the first I have heard, but would make our's special.
