This thread is for GT/CS owners in Northern Ca. who may have received an invitation to the Innaugural BBQ and Swim party at our home in Grass Valley, Ca. on August 19th, 2006. If you are planning to attend, and have not RSVPd yet, Please do so by 08-01-06. If you own a GT/CS or HCS and have not received an invitation, and would like to attend, Please send me a private message with your E-Mail address and I will send you one.
Grass Valley is located approximately 45 miles N-E of Sacramento, Ca.
This is not a car show, nor a club. There will be NO judging, so bring your GT/CS or HCS as is. This BBQ is to get to know other GT/CS or HCS owners and have good food and fun times. We look forward to hearing from you, and meeting you. Mike and Robinette Jewell [email protected]

So far, isn't the RSVP about 15 GT/CSs? That would be the largest concentration of GT/CS Mustangs anywhere on the planet!

(note to self: was it cole slaw, cream puffs or buffalo steaks I was supposed to bring? dang!)

Thank you Donna for inquiring about Socal, or other locals interested in the get together. The invitations were sent out to NoCal folks as we thought most owners would not like to drive so far, but if you want to take a road trip, GT/CS-HCS owners are welcome, as is your GT/CS or HCS. Just let us know you will be attending, and how many. Mike and Robinette.

Last Call For Anyone Interested In Attending!

Hello folks, If any other GT/CS or HCS owners would like to attend, Please RSVP by midnight tomorrow, 08-01-06. We need to start making plans for food and parking. We hope to have as many owners and their cars here for the party. Currently, we are up to 18 confirmed cars and about 50 folks. We hope to see you here. Mike and Robinette.

I was talking to Mike about how this party may be an annual event, or a flagship party for others...as well as the beginning of how to plan our BIG drive/event for the 40th Anniv. in 2008!

So...you ALL are with us in spirit...and we'll definately be thinking about you...(i.e. "hey, pass that potato salad...and where's my tri-tip"!!)

They are BOTH my babies! I keep trying to figure out a way that I can tow the lil green car with the big red one...
Tell Robinette to stop stressing! It's just a family reunion...long lost relatives and all that stuff. And tell her to put me to work as soon as I get there. I gotta be busy.
