I DO NOT own a CS or HCS, but my 68 GT fastback was assembled at San Jose and I have been posting on this site for some time. How would you all feel if I posted pictures of my car in the Gallery? I know "other" cars are posted, but all appear to be owned by someone who also has a CS or HCS.

We welcome you and appreciate your feedback on the site. I thnk your question needs to be answered by the Jon (aka admin). At the very least, you can attach pics of your car to the thread. I would love to see the car.

I think we should have seperate galleries so we can post pics of our other cars, hobbies and families. Unless everybody, including Jon, agrees its ok to do that with our current gallery, whether we`re GT/CS owners or enthusiasts.

...Ah, what the heck - post 'em. Or as in my case when someone wanted to see my fire engine, I put pics in the 'Off Topic' lounge... Ultimately the webmaster's decision I suppose, but I wouldn't mind.

I think some non-GT/CS or HCS photos are fine. I'm sure they'll be a minority of the photos.

More personal photos like families, pets, etc. should maybe be kept as posts on the forums at this point. The gallery really is set up more like a "garage" to show off cars. Ideally we would have a separate gallery, but that's just not how it's set up right now.

Danny;
Since your a member of the site and you now have Jon's answer by all means get that "STANG" in the gallery so we can see it. Besides, I'd love to see another big block on here. Let us know when it's posted.

Now that I opened my big mouth, so to say, I guess I need to figure out how to post pictures. I'll see what I can figure out.

Ok, I Think I Have One Picture Posted, Not The Best Photo. I'll Try To Add More Later. 6pictures posted, I can't believe I figured that out without help. Computers are not my strong point.

That's because 'someone' couldn't get the ALF pix in her regular email for some strange reason...and then I am guilty as charged for posting pix of one of my other cars., (And it wasn't a Ford! :::::::gasp*:::::::)

...But that non-Ford of yours was COOL! One to be admired, tho not to want a (in the back) ride in ;-)

Don, your pics, tho not GT/CS are also fantastic! If OK for pictures of 'Ford Mustangs', do non-Ford 'Mustangs' also count? Here's a Mustang that I especially loved a ride in :))

While I was still in the Air Force, one of my ex-Base Commanders had a P-51 and he made it a habit to offer the NCO of the Quarter a ride in it. Man what a blast. I had the opportunity to go up in her twice. Would love to do it again.

My late husband and I had a Cessna 210 and his dream was to ride in a P-51. I bought him a ticket to ride in one..and he never took the ride. He just got some funny feeling that he shouldn't do it! $300.00 down the drain!
Aaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!

Looks like a great ride. While in the Air Force, I got the opportunity to ride in the back seat of an F-4D from Las Vegas to Wichita, KS. Greatest ride of my life. We flew over the Grand Canyon and Denver upside down, did a 0 to 37,000 feet climb, inflight refuel...

Since I worked on the ejection seats, no problem in feeling safe. Passed up a ride in the B-1B after returning from commissioning. One of the dumber mistakes in my life.

By the way Danny, cool car and glad to see your pics in the gallery.

Flying is great...I have had flights in the F-15, F-16 and F-18, along with many slower electronic and transport planes. The best was by far the F-15, the power those 2 engines but out is INCREADABLE!! I got my last ride just last year from one of the guys that worked for me in an F-16 flying over South Korea looking into North Korea.

And yes I lost my lunch on every flight I had :lipsseal: ....and I would do it again in a heart beat!!

How I'd love to go up in a modern fighter someday!... As a Reno pylon photographer, I've been about as close as you can get to'em at speed w/o being in the cockpit (one F-16 accidently popped the sound barrier on a low pass - 'think the pilot is a dump truck driver now;-) Warbirds are almost as sensational I beleive... 2000 hp recip. in front of you, deafening, exciting, ...having too much fun to be scared... So far, I've got to enjoy Stearmans, Wacos, AT-6s, T-28s, PT-22s, NA-50, P-51s and this rare Yak-11 modified for racing w/ P&W R2800. 'Was never meant to have a rear seat, but I didn't mind :))
