Sorry to resurrect and old thread, but I figured it’s a good place for this question:

What are the best road trip snacks?
Something that doesn’t melt, get hands sticky, or is too salty???

We carry bottled water, small juice bottles, may be a pop for drinks. Grapes that are picked off the vine, cheese. summers sausage sliced. jerky and dried fruit. We carry a small cooler and a tip to keep it cool is to freeze most of your bottled water. That way you do not lose the space to ice. We do not get that hungry when traveling, so we just snack and buy a good dinner at night.

I stop around every 3 hours for gas and, if necessary, a pit stop. Have a bad habit of buying chips or pretzels. Tried ice cream sandwiches once, but that was a bad idea. 🤦‍♂️
