Well folks, my community has just experienced one of the worst tornados in a long time. 127 homes in my county destroyed or heavily damaged. Thank God, our place is okay. If you will, remember my neighbors and friends in the Christian County, Missouri community in your prayers as they recover and clean up in it's aftermath. Here's a link if you want to see the result of it.

I'm happy to hear that you came out okay, but yes, I'll definitely say a prayer for those less fortunate ... it's amazing how much destruction can happen in a matter of minutes - wow!!!

Glad to hear you are okay and sorry to hear about your neighbors. We missed most of the bad storms as well as they seem to just be to the north or south of us. Pretty wild day!!!

Wow! I was talking to my sister today (she's near Joplin) and the sirens went off again! I'm glad you all are okay!
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

And a dam just burst here in Kauai killing at least one person with 7 missing. What a weird week.

We been having pretty crazy weather around in Northern, CA.. this past two weeks. It's nothing like that you have in the Midwest. We had a couple of weak funnel clouds and Hail, and Thunderstorms some of our local counties were under a severe T-storm watch.. We also had snow in some places that don't usually see snow..

sounds like Texas

Yeah, except for the high humidity. And the hailstones are bigger in Texas too.. I was in Texas a few years ago and saw some powerful storm, that I have ever seen! The wind blew so hard, and the loud thunder and frequent lighting strikes. I thought that there was a tornado near by.. That storm lasted all night long.. Our severe storms don't last that long, they only last for less than an hour.. But pretty interesting for us!

The storm that was hitting Colorado and South Dakota is due to roll in here tonight around 11-12pm. Their talking possibly up to 6" of snow with blizzard conditions. Should be an interesting drive into work Tuesday morning. Guess I'll go home tonight and fire up the snow blower 1 more time. Welcome to the first full day of spring.
